CREDO (www.credo.be) has been actively involved in numbercrunching for the financial industry for almost two decades. We are a group of highly specialized experts with an excellent track record. Besides building our own CREDO commercial software package for credit risk calculations in banking, we also take care of advanced projects at a variety of financial institutions.
We are therefore always on the lookout for persons that are interested by the financial world (banking/insurance) and have a quantitative background in IT, engineering, mathematics, physics or human sciences (statistics – e.g. Marketing).
- are IT-minded by nature: the words Linux, parallel computing, object-oriented programming, SPARK, Hadoop, Apache, GIT, AWS/Azure … make your heart beat faster.
- are eager to learn new things fast, both from the technological (R, Python, Java, …) as business side (predictive modelling, financial risk management, marketing…).
- have excellent communication and networking skills and are able to present complex topics in a language understandable to customers with very different backgrounds.
You may be working on-site at our customers during data science or risk-related project.
To deploy our solutions at new customers, you may also spend some time in financial institutions to help installing and configuring our software, help in developing new predictive models, etc.
